Moscow Exchange hosts London's largest Russian capital markets event

Moscow Exchange today hosts its annual Russian capital markets showcase forum in London, bringing together senior Russian policymakers and CEOs with an audience of hundreds of members of the international investment community.

Moscow Exchange Forum: London Session gets underway with a plenary session on key macro-economic and financial markets issues. Speakers include Russian Central Bank Deputy Governor Ksenia Yudaeva, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev, Deputy Economy Minister Nikolai Podguzov and CEOs Mikhail Shamolin of Sistema and Pavel Grachev of Polyus Gold.

In the afternoon, attention turns to the Exchange itself and the trading opportunities offered via its best-in-class infrastructure. The National Settlement Depository (NSD) will also hold a session covering modernisation of corporate actions and other recent developments.

This year's London forum, co-organised with Citi, has attracted greater interest than ever before, with over 600 delegates registered as well as dozens of journalists and media representatives.

Day two of the Forum is devoted to 1-on-1 meetings for Russian corporates with UK institutional investors. The 17 MOEX-listed companies meeting investors include blue-chip names across sectors including retail, financial services, oil and gas, metals and mining, chemicals and aviation.

Moscow Exchange holds Forums in global financial centres including London, New York and Shanghai to update the investment community on the latest developments in Russian capital markets, and to introduce Russian corporates to global institutional investors.
