Trading in MTS stock on Moscow Exchange

In accordance with Moscow Exchange"s Trading Rules, the following applies to MTS ordinary shares  (state registration number 1-01-04715-A as of 22.01.2004, ticker MTSS) from 22 September 2014:

  • The stock does not trade in Main Trading Mode (T+2);
  • Only negotiated and repo trades are available in the stock.

The temporary trading suspension is due to the reorganisation of MTS resulting from the consolidation of its subsidiaries Elf, Efkom, Pilot, Firm TVK&K, Zhelgortelecom, Intercom, TRK TVT, Kaskad-TV, Kuznetsktelemost, Systema Telecom, and TZ, in accordance with the resolution passed at the company"s 24 June 2014 Annual General Shareholders Meeting (AGM).

Trading is expected to resume in early October this year upon completion of the reorganisation and resumption of depository operations in the securities by the National Settlement Depositary.

A precise date for the resumption of trading will be announced in due course.
