What is the difference betweenConnectMEand Universal DMA scheme?

Universal DMA scheme only uses dedicated network channels organized by authorized operator partners of the Moscow Exchange whereas ConnectME does not have such limitation – you can use any network provider of your choice and have dedicated point-to-point connection without traffic aggregation, which is not applicable to the Universal Scheme.

Where are ConnectMEpoints of connectivity located?

The service is available in the М1 (125, Warshawskoe shosse, Moscow) and Dataspace1 (11 bld.9, Sharikopodshipnikovskaya str., Moscow) Data Centres.

Can I use the fiber channel for my connection?

Yes, you can use the fiber channel, 1000BASE-SX and 1000BASE-LX\LH ports are available.

Can I use network equipment other than Cisco, i.e. Juniper or Arista?

Only Cisco equipment must be used. For more information please refer to our technical requirements.

What are your recommendations for L2 network channel bandwidth?

Minimum recommended L2 channel bandwidth:

  • 10 Mbit/s – for connections not usingmulticast.
  • 20 Mbit/s – for connections usingmulticast*.

*Selected network provider must support multicast mode.

What market access interfaces can I use through ConnectME service?

ConnectME service supports all available access interfaces: API (ASTS Bridge, PlazaII) and FIX/FAST.

How isMeet-me-roomconnected to the Trade Engines?

ConnectME network equipment located in theMeet-me-room is connected directly to the border routers of the Exchange using the shortest possible routewhich provides the lowest latency to the Trading System.
