Moscow Exchange offers Sponsored Market Access on Equity & Bond Market

On 4 December 2017, Moscow Exchange began offering Sponsored Market Access (SMA) to resident and non-resident clients of MOEX market participants to facilitate their trading on the Russian market.

The SMA technology allows direct access to trading on Moscow Exchange's Equity & Bond Market. Prior to 4 December, clients of MOEX market participants could only trade by using infrastructure solutions of brokers and banks. 

The SMA login application form is available on the Exchange's website. Applications can be filed starting from 4 December 2017.

The SMA service has been available on the MOEX FX Market since August 2015. MOEX plans to begin offering sponsored access for trading derivatives in 2018.
