Notifications about potential transaction fees for Flood Control errors

On 3 October Moscow Exchange began sending notifications about potential transactional fees for Flood Control errors. The fee is designed to stimulate the appropriate use of the Exchange"s IT infrastructure and to increase the quality of service to the market participants.

Flood control errors occur when capacity of the derivatives platform login is exceeded. Market participant can buy any number of capacity units. Each capacity allows 30 transactions per seond for the login. Transactions submitted over the login performance are automatically rejected by the trading system. 

The fee calculation method and reporting formats are available on the Moscow Exchange"s website. 

Notifications are sent in form of clearing reports. The reports are sent with one day delay after evening clearing session.

The effective date for the new fee will be announced in due course.
