Update of requirements for the RegNum during client and fund registration
From December 22, 2025, additional requirements will be introduced for the RegNum (Registration Number) field during client registration via the Client’s Personal Account and via Web API.
Nature of Changes:
The RegNum field must not contain only zeros. The value must include at least one significant character — a digit from 1 to 9 and/or a letter. The symbols "_" or "-" are permitted, but if no significant character is present, they are treated as equivalent to a zero value. This prevents the registration of invalid identifiers.
What Will Change:
In the Client’s Personal Account (section "Client Registration"): when a RegNum value consisting solely of zeros is entered, the system will display the error:
"Letters, digits, hyphen, and underscore are allowed. Registration Number cannot have a zero value".
In Web API: when an invalid RegNum value is transmitted, the Unified Client Registration system’s response will contain the error:
"Invalid RegNum field value (Registration Number of the Rules of Mutual Investment Fund Management assigned by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation)".
Testing:
The changes can be tested in the test environment:
