            Setting up a trading securities account

            If you need a securities account with trading sections, please send an application to the Depository Clearing Company (DCC) specifying that these accounts are opened for clearing of trades by the RTS Clearing Center.

            Settlement at DCC can also be arranged using accounts opened with other depositories including ROSBANK (OJSC JSCB), INFINITUM Asset Services, Closed Joint Stock Company "United Depository Company", ZAO "First Specialized Depository", Central Funds Depository, Limited Liability Company "Interregional Depository Company", Association of legal entities "Depository and Settlement Union", etc.

            Trading securities accounts opened for a trading participant at DCC are registered automatically based on the information received from DCC. If a trading participant uses an account opened at a different depository the account holder (depository) submits the application for registration of a trading account to the Clearing Center.

            The account holder (trading participant, client of a trading participant, or a depository) sends a depository instruction (please use the standard D22 form) to the Clearing Center in three counterparts.

            The registered trading securities accounts that are indicated in the depository instruction D22 can be specified by the trading participant in the application for registration of clients and codes of trading accounts and in the application for allocation of the trading accounts to a section of clearing registers.

            For settlement of trades in Gazprom shares trading securities accounts at the following depositories may be used:
            a.    DCC;
            b.    Depository No 883 AB "Gazprombank" (accounts starting with "F") and Settlement depository company (Closed Joint Stock Company) (hereinafter the Settlement Depository Company).

            Trading securities accounts opened for trading participants and their clients at Depository No 883 AB "Gazprombank" and Settlement Depository Company are registered at the Clearing Center automatically based on the information received from Settlement Depository Company.

            Trading participants can refer to these registered trading securities accounts in the application for registration of clients and codes of trading accounts and in the application for allocation of trading accounts to a section of clearing registers.
