Final settlement of Brent derivatives in December 2016, February and May 2017

Due to public holidays in Russia, the final settlement date of the January Brent oil futures contracts (BR-1.17) will be changed to 30 December 2016, instead of 2 January 2017. The date will be changed technically after 1 December 2016 when the December Brent oil futures contracts (BR-12.16) expire.

The final settlement date of the March option on Brent oil futures (BR-3.17) will be 22 February 2017 as 23 February 2017 is a public holiday and a non-trading day on the Exchange.

The final settlement date of the May Brent oil futures (BR-5.17) will be 2 May 2017 (as set out in the contract specification) as that day is a normal business day in Russia.
