Moscow Exchange announces launch of trading in futures contracts on the 15-year government bonds (OFZs)

On June 06, 2013 futures contracts on the 15-year government bonds (OFZ) basket started trading on the Moscow Exchange"s Derivatives Market.

The market makers to maintain quotations for the new derivatives instrument will be Deutsche Bank, Sberbank and VTB Capital.

"With the launch of a new contract  the futures on OFZs product line start covering the entire public debt curve, that makes it possible for the professional market participants to hedge both, government and corporate bonds portfolios", comments Roman Sulzhyk, Managing Director of the Derivatives Market of the Moscow Exchange.
