Derivatives Market introduces 'Cancel On Disconnect' functionality

On 1 June 2015 Moscow Exchange introduced 'Cancel On Disconnect' (COD) functionality on the Derivatives Market. The functionality now provides automatic order cancellation on the Derivatives Market"s trading system (SPECTRA) for anonymous Good-"til-Canceled (GTC) orders when one of the following conditions is met:

  • The transactional inactivity limit is reached;
  • A trading participant has disconnected from the trading system;
  • A trading participant has lost connection to the trading system for any reason including network or hardware outage (or any outage resulted in trading halt);
  • Other conditions as specified in the Exchange"s or Technical Center internal documents.

A detailed description of the COD offering is available here: ftp://ftp.moex.com/pub/ClientsAPI/Spectra/COD/.

Please note that to use the COD functionality in CGATE API, a new transaction code has been introduced – CODHeartBeat. Once the COD functionality has been enabled for your trading ID, your client-side application should send this transaction to the Trading System at least once every 10 seconds but not more than once per second. FIX gateway users should use the already operational code HeartBeat.

To enable this functionality please complete this form https://fs.moex.com/files/9862/ (available in Russian only) and send it to the technical access department using the EDI gateway.
